The Physical Operations Committee at Sylvan Hills has decided in order to keep up with the much needed mowing of the camp grass this spring that we have put together a schedule for mowing the camp for May 16 thru June 13th. The way it will work is that every Thursday after 4:00 PM the gate to the camp will be open for volunteers to help mow and trim the grass at camp. We would ask that if possible to bring your own equipment (riding mowers, push mowers, trimmers) on that day. The camp will provide the gasoline for your equipment. In the event we have rain on that Thursday we will move the mowing day to Friday that week at the same time. If we have many people show up it should only take a few hours to complete. Please consider volunteering and if you have any questions or concerns you can e-mail me or call 814-470-3478. You can also let me know your coming to help by e-mail or phone also. Please feel free to announce this in your churches also.
