“Changing of the Seasons”

From growing up as a camper and being baptized at a week of camp to getting married in the Chapel in the woods and eventually stepping into the role of Camp Manager, it is evident that Sylvan Hills holds a special place in me and my family’s heart. Its ministry has been instrumental in my faith and in so many campers and adults alike. As the season changes to Fall and then to Winter, there is a changing of the season for both Sylvan Hills and our lives. Effective October 31st, 2022 I am resigning from my role as Camp Manager. I will be pursuing another path that will better suit myself and my family. I am so grateful for the opportunity to serve with such a powerful ministry that has impacted the lives of all that have walked the hills. I pray that God truly blesses the next chapter of Sylvan Hills Christian Service Camp and what the new Lodge will bring.

God Bless,
Joshua M. Fishburn

Building Update

It is hard to believe that just a few months ago 4 Cabins sat on the hill as our building project continues to chug along! All exterior walls have been erected and sheathed, and the Lodge is under roof well before the anticipated start of the winter season.
