Summer 2024 Recap

Since 1946, Sylvan Hills Christian Service Camp has ministered to thousands of young people with one goal: To Train Servant Leaders. Sylvan Hills has been a catalyst for God’s grace and love to countless young people by introducing them to the Good News of Jesus Christ and challenging them to grow deeper in their relationship with Him. These young people have grown to become teachers, worship leaders, and pastors who touch thousands more through their ministries every year…

Urgent Help Needed

Dining Hall Clear out – September 14, 2024, 4pm

The Sylvan Hills Dining Hall floors are scheduled to be stripped and waxed.  To prepare, we need to move everything out of the Dining Hall on September 14th starting at 4pm.  We could use lots of help (and a trailer/truck, if available) to clear the space.

Fall Workday

September 21, 2024, 8am

Our first Workday of the fall season is September 21st, 8am – 4pm.  There will be tasks available for all levels of ability.  A light breakfast and hearty lunch will be served for our volunteers.  Gather your family, your friends, and your small group/youth group for a great service opportunity!

Fall Worship Picnic Fundraiser

September 28, 2024 – 4:30pm

We invite you to celebrate the conclusion of a blessed 2024 camp season, where numerous young lives were touched, friendships were forged, and faith was deepened.  A picnic meal (enjoyed inside or outside) will be served between 4:30-6:00pm and then stay for an evening of music, a Summer 2024 recap, and worship led by REMIX Worship Ministries.

Thank You, Mackenzie Frazier!

Eagle Scout Project at Sylvan Hills.

Mackenzie took on removing and rebuilding the damaged stairs and deck on the Manager’s Residence House at camp this summer. She completed this enormous task with the help of recruited volunteers, while also raising funds and collecting donations from local hardware stores. Sylvan Hills was blessed by Mackenzie’s hard work and dedication. Please keep Mackenzie in your prayers as she goes into the final presentation process.
