We had a great week with beautiful weather for beginners camp this year! We had 38 campers who many of which were at camp for the first time ever! They got to experience all of our favorite parts of camp packed into 3 days.
They enjoyed our big slip n’ slide, the ropes course, canteen, chapel in the woods, campfire, some competitive games of Gaga ball, praising Jesus through worship in the chapel, and daily Bible lessons during family time learning about obedience.
Our mission this week was the Jared box project and each of the campers and staff had the opportunity to make a box. These 50 Jared boxes will be donated to some of our local hospitals. Through the generous donations of our beginners camp families we also raised over $400 to donate to the Jared box project!
