Interim Camp Manager/Intern
Location: Sylvan Hills Christian Service Camp – Howard, PA
Job Type: Seasonal (May–August)
Compensation:
- $17/hour (up to 40 hours/week) for May and August (non-camp weeks)
- $680 flat rate for full camp weeks and Grange rental Week
- $17/hour (up to 40 hours/week) for partial camp weeks
- Meals (during camp weeks) & housing provided
About Us:
Sylvan Hills Camp is dedicated to providing a meaningful and fun camp experience for all ages. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Interim Camp Manager/Intern to help keep our camp running smoothly throughout the summer season.
Responsibilities:
- Grounds & building maintenance and security
- Running errands (Sam’s Club, Lowe’s, etc.)
- Taking and posting daily camp pictures for social media
- Operating AV equipment
- Assisting in the canteen and kitchen
- Serving as a point of contact for Deans and attending staff meetings
- Preparing evening campfire
- Assisting with administrative tasks
- Setting up for camp weeks and helping Reset Crews
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Comfortable with basic AV equipment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Willingness to take on a variety of tasks to support camp operations
- Reliable transportation for errands
